About me

I’m a professionally and classically trained pianist, voice coach, conductor and music theory teacher.

I hold Masters degree from The Gnesins Russian Academy of Music, Moscow, graduating with honors from graduate and postgraduate programs.

Over the 30 years of my professional music career, I had the opportunity to travel the world with my choir and chamber orchestra which I established in 1997 in Moscow City.

I had the honor to perform on stages in Ukraine, Moldova, Belarus, Georgia, Latvia, Poland, Germany, Italy, Sweden, Hungary and many other parts of Europe.

I also performed in Russia as a solo pianist, choir and chamber orchestra conductor. Aside from teaching and performing, I have recorded and released CDs with my own arrangements of the classical music of many known composers, as well as of Christian gospel music, and folk style music.

You are welcome to listen to my performances in the link below.

I love teaching the piano, voice and theory to my students of all ages from children to adults. The annual recitals and holiday concerts are special events that I organize and welcome all of my students from beginners to advanced performers to participate.

Besides teaching, I also serve at Presbyterian and Seventh-Day Adventist churches as a pianist, organist, vocalist and music director.
I invite all music lovers to join my school and together build a happy and creative environment for  children and adults of Manhattan and the New York community.

You are encouraged to check the videos and pictures of my work below and contact me for more information.

“I consider myself a very lucky person as I have the best job in the whole world!
Something I love to do the most, play my music and share joy and knowledge of music with my students”

Annual holiday concerts

A very important part of the Guseva’s music school is to see our students to BE HAPPY with what they are doing and achieving!

All students have an excellent opportunity to participate in at least two concerts in the academic year: a Christmas concert in winter and the annual recital at the end of the school year in summer. It is always a very special and exciting event for children and adults, parents and friends. My students have an opportunity to demonstrate their talents and achievements in front of their friends and families. It is beneficial for each student to participate and to grow their confidence, raise self-esteem, and simply enjoy while performing in public.

Students receive Steinway & Sons certificates.
